Cadeon saw Violet and decided she would be his possession. Violet lived in an unsafe neighborhood, therefore Cadeon forced Violet to live in his home. The book contained sex play, oral sex and actual sex more than half way thru. The book also contained spankings. The Violet character was a true submissive. She was very meek and did whatever Cadeon demanded. Cadeon was an extremely dominant man. He was forceful, in charge and refused to take no for an answer. Overall I liked the book.Product details

It was a great book. I had lots of fun reading this one. The love that you see is so wonderful!!!
This is yet another book that Sam Crescent did a great job with, I was hooked within the first few pages and really connected with the characters. When Cadeon first met Violet he knew she had to be his, but Violet has a devastating past and is in hiding from people who want to harm her. Cadeon will make sure to do everything in his power to not only protect Violet but to make her his . I really liked this book, I have read several books by Sam Crescent and this is one of my favorites. I loved all the characters in this book and got swept away in the story not wanting it to end. Cadeon was another typical and great hero by Sam. This is a great start to a new series.
I love this book. There are parts that make me laugh, mainly just the instant love. I have never been a fan of the love at first sight thing, but Crescent plays it perfectly. Yes, Cadeon falls in love at first glance, but he lets that love grow (on his end) for a year before he does anything. He is a man who knows what he wants and feels and will do anything to have it. There is something incredibly sexy about that. I loved that violet was a little scarred from a less than perfect childhood. She was perfect for Cadeons possessive and protective side.
The story has just the right amount of love, sex, and hot ass alpha man! Looking forward for more from this series!
Sam writes such hot, edgy books that I always love them even when they push the envelope. This is a great read if you like intrigue with a hot alpha male involved and a lost heroine.
I really liked this book until all the sudden (****SPOILERS****) the day after losing her virginty he's spanking her and having her call him MASTER! Really! Weren't talking about a girl with issues here! So STUPID!
This author really likes the alpha male but leaves no doubt that along with his dominance comes asleep capacity for love, caring, protection, and nurture. It is obvious that this hero feels the kind of authentic feeling of respect for women in general as well as being honest about who he is. This is a very readable short novel that pairs this dominant man with a young woman who I the one person who has been able to open the well springs of his life long commitment to her as his soul mate. A really fine read
okay, So this book has pros and cons for me. When was purchased this book I was looking for a May to December romance, and I enjoy a damsel in distress kinda heroine- so I thought this would be fabulous. Pro- this book does totally fit that category. Con- She doesn't know really the real danger she is in, and so this book is just him taking over her life-big CON.
Pro- He is older, alpha type who is a dom kinda man. The sex is hawt. He appears to adore her. He is protective and did I mention the sex is HAWT.
Con- She is too wimpy (can't believe i'm saying that). and her past/story line- a bit too unbelievable for me. Also, she just always accepts everything (oh wait, that falls under too wimpy).
I'd really rate this 2.5 stars, but I can't...
